I missed much of the game, but Swayman wasn't the reason for the loss if he allows only one goal

How did Coyle look? ..was he floating around all game, but accomplishing nothing?? ..again

People keep harping on Swayman's big contract (and rightfully so) and how he's not earning it ...but at least he does have the odd good game

What has Coyle done to earn his $5.25 mil/yr contract this season??
Well according to one fellow poster, if a player is not playing well the new criteria is he must be hurt.

Coyle is not signed for 7 more years.

Which teams are just dying to trade for someone on this year's Bruins? Takes two to tango.
Marchand would likely be the best asset traded after Rantanen.

Frederic up there as well and we can only hope other teams are "grass is always greener" for him.

Brazeau types, who knows. Late pick is better than nothing.

Coyle has had a bad year, no question. However, he had a career year last year, and I've NEVER questioned his work ethic. Results a problem, yes; work ethic, no. He just doesn't have the elite hands to score 30 goals. And yes, he's overpaid for his skill set.

Coyle looks very disinterested in playing hockey this year, and rarely displays any real effort or desire

..he's either dealing with an undisclosed injury all season ...or he's cooked

I'm leaning to the cooked theory

Coyle leads all Bruins in takeaways and has the best takeaway/giveaway differential on the team, by far. Still one of Boston's more physical forwards.

His skating looks like he's lost a small step, and he's always been better suited to playing in the middle. But effort and work ethic for him is a non-issue.
