Why was the Sharks broadcast team so upset Kadri wouldn’t fight last night?

They were just talking about it here on TSN radio, that the Sharks broadcasters were very noticibly bitter Kadri wouldn’t fight anybody at any point when Sharks players kept coming at him in waves to fight. Why? What did Kadri need to answer for and why were the commentators and some fans expecting him to and angry he wouldn’t? Andi Petrillo and Gord Miller seemed baffled. The only point Gord could make was that other teams hate the Leafs and the attention they get.

Very weird, especially for professional announcers to take that kind of approach.

Maybe if San Jose spent less time going out of their way to teach Kadri a "lesson" and spent more time focusing on their game they wouldn't have lost. Not sure what Kadri did, but it worked.

It literally started off of the opening draw. I'm not a Leafs fan. Sharks were stupid and Naz played it well. They took like three stupid penalties trying to get him to "answer the bell."

Apparently this is an offshoot of him pulling out some of Thornton's beard last season. Which is stupid.

The only people who look bad are those who didn't see the game. Look, I know it's Kadri and all but they were trying to fight him off the start. He was slew footed, he got hit to the back of the head a few times. Sharks players were targeting him the whole game. Even the coach acknowledged this



This has everything to do with Kadri and Thornton's fight last year when Kadri got some of his beard hair during it.



Kadri was just grabbing him Thornton is twice his size, it was a fluke that he got some of his hair that was to chest level during this. Just immaturity all around there.
