I remember one year, probably 88-89, when another rookie played
regularly in that spot beside Smith and Naslund. Future captain Mike Keane.
And it's hard to imagine a greater difference in style of play, that between
Dahlin and Keane.
I believe Richer played pretty sheltered minutes until the 89-90 season.
That was a very deep veteran group of forwards.
