Probably for the best if when you score one goal, we call it a onesie! Draisaitl goes up stairs with the onesie.
Thought two goals was referred to as a "hatty watch"...In hockey and soccer , when a player gets 3 goals it's called a hattrick
In soccer , when a player scores 2 goals it's called a brace.
So there you have it. When a player scores 2 goals , it's called a brace. Let's make it stick.
I think because they fake injuries and need a braceBrace lol, they couldn’t come up with something better.
I only know the term brace because of Tolkien (Samwise catches a "brace of coneys" for food). In North America, we'd call it a deuce. E.g., "Ovechkin gave us a deuce on the ice tonight!".
It's soccer
Sound like a guy that can't finish or faked an injurySo there you have it. When a player scores 2 goals , it's called a brace. Let's make it stick.

Nobody in soccer calls it a brace either.
Uh Britain invented "soccer" and the best league in the world is the Premier league. And in the Prem, they use the word brace as often as hattrick. It is used in other leagues also. You just didn't know what it meantExactly. Looks like the OP picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue. "Hattrick" is an international term (spelled hetrik where I live), whereas no one outside British football has ever heard of a stupid "brace",nor should they.

Other than you, I think there are a total of three people in the world who use the term brace. In hockey and soccer , when a player gets 3 goals it's called a hattrick
