Goalies are so up and down every year. It's still sheshterkin for me.There should not be one vote that isn't Hellyebucyk

PlayoffsThere's very little evidence against Hellebuyck at this point.
Sampling error. Take out his last 10 games and his sv% in the playoffs is .920.Playoffs
We even saw it last year if my memory is correct. Sheshty was dogshit first half but then really turned it on 2nd half and reminded everyone why he was the best....and he's always been a beast in playoffs like you said so another point for Shesty.Same. What if Hellebuyck crumbles again this playoffs?
Yeah good point, but we are voting for the best goalie right now (I assume), and I do think the latest playoffs performance is important to consider.Sampling error. Take out his last 10 games and his sv% in the playoffs is .920.

My metric is the eyetest as annoying as that is. I don't put too much stock especially into advanced stats as long as they still look good on the ice.20/21:
Hellebuyck - 1
Shesterkin - 15
21/22:
Hellebuyck - 8
Shesterkin - 1
22/23:
Hellebuyck - 4
Shesterkin - 5
23/24:
Hellebuyck - 1
Shesterkin - 12
24/25 (in progress):
Hellebuyck - 2
Shesterkin - 3
Average finish:
Hellebuyck - 3.2
Shesterkin - 7.2
If consistency is your metric, Hellebuyck has been the better goalie the last five seasons. Shesterkin only has a single season of better play.

You're kidding right? Or is math just not your strong suit? Also a big fan of goalies that take their game up a notch in playoffs. Price was that dude for example. He had some stinky regular seasons but whenever the games mattered, he was a beast. Sheshterkin is the same - guy elevates his game to new heights come playoff time. I have yet to see anything close to that level of dominance from Helle
But looking at your stats, and this looks pretty even to me if I'm understanding correctly. 22/23 & 24/25 are pretty much a wash. 21/22 goes to Shesty, and 23/24 goes to Helle.
Ok cool go argue with someone else then. I have no bone in this fight just giving my opinion. My opinion on playoff performance can be backed by numbers tho so not sure why you chose to ignore that part of my argument ?Your subjective analysis is meaningless to me. Without a baseline anyone can claim anything.
Lol ok forgive me let me try againYou're kidding right? Or is math just not your strong suit?
