Flag fields are super narrow. You need deep speed to stretch defenses properly.
QB.
Lamar is the lock of locks to be the best player on the field. Kyler would be my 2nd choice.
FLEX
Brock Bowers I have this vague memory that he can Snap, so I'm going with it. Perfect underneath guy with YAC ability.
FLEX
Ja'Marr Chase. You watch NFL players struggle to judge his play speed. Flag guys will have no prayer.
FLEX
Brian Thomas Jr. Some guy from Australia is going to spin around like a cartoon top the first time he tries to get his hands on him at the line.
FLEX
Nico Collins. I'm not wasting a spot on a RB. No one is covering these 4 even if they drop 5. They're all big enough to solve the End Zone problems with physicality too.
DB:
Derwin James. The best rushers are going to be DBs. I want Hamilton in my secondary and I think Derwin is a cleaner projection to this role than McDuffie or Budda Baker.
CB:
Patrick Surtain. Clamp #1
CB:
Derek Stingley. Clamp #2
DB:
Kyle Hamilton. Playmaker #1
DB:
Cooper DeJean. Playmaker #2
Who's on your 2028 Olympic Flag Football Team? Your center can be any O or D player. It's 3 years away so I'm going with a young team.
C: Penei Sewell
QB: Jayden Daniels or CJ Stroud
WR/RB: Puka Nacua
WR/RB: Bijan Robinson
WR/RB: Jahmyr Gibbs or Drake London
DB: Trent McDuffie
DB: Derek Stingley, Jr
RUSHER: Jared Verse or Will Anderson, Jr
S: Kyle Hamilton
S: Brian Branch
There are no Linemen in this format. There is a Snap, so you need someone who can do that in some form. I can't figure out how to clearly solve that one. I can't think of a TE that played Center in CFB or HS.
You also can't run the ball in short yardage or in close to the Goal Line, so you probably don't want the 2nd RB.
