Who's making it into the West's WC2 spot?

St. Louis seems like they're far and away the best team out of STL/VAN/CGY/UTA/ANA. Vancouver waved the white flag the second they traded Miller. Calgary and Utah I just don't think are quite there yet. Anaheim has too much ground to makeup.

St. Louis is the hottest team of the group, and they have the best goalie. While they may not be favourites, they're certainly the biggest nightmare matchup for Winnipeg of the group.

Right now I would guess it's either the Flames or Canucks. Too close to call at this time.

Don't forget about the Kings. They are only 4 points ahead of Calgary and Vancouver.

There's a world where the Flames or the Canucks squeak into 3rd place in the Pacific Division and they face the Oilers in the first round.

The Blues are hot right now. They've been clicking well since the 4 nations break. Also Binnington got his confidence back. I was ready to throw the season away, but they are showing signs that they can be a playoff team. It really all depends on what they do at the trade deadline.

The Blues are playing the best hockey of these teams right now, but they still have a bit of a hole to climb out of to really secure the spot. I think those money puck odds someone posted are probably pretty telling at this point. No team is a favorite to make it in over the field and the Blues and the teams who already have points on the others have the best odds.
