Ryan Johansen. For the first 2 months of the season he pretty much single-handedly held the Jackets afloat.
We were in dead last place in November. What's your definition of afloat?
My point is that he has won us multiple games by emerging as a true beast, as he has taken over games by himself and dominated. Have you forgot about the shootout and OT winners as well?
No way in hell the CBJ would even be spoken in the same breath as the word "playoffs" if not for his clutch play. He has become a true legit #1 C, and has established himself as a superstar. I don't want to think about where the Blue Jackets would be without him.
All the Joey hate is pretty comical.

Woah there. I don't disagree with anything you said. But 'keeping us afloat' would be in the 10-13 range. Not 16th. If you look back at all the Joey threads, I was one of his defenders. Nothing but love here for #19, I have his shirt too.
We were heald afloat? Foligno was just a passenger?

Oh I know you've been defending Joey. That comment wasn't necessarily aimed at you. I actually agree with you like 99% of the time, haha.
When you take everything into account, Johansen has really been overlooked. Obviously Foligno is right there with him, though. I'm just saying nobody has been as clutch as Joey. His SO/OT winners in particular are proving to be huge right now. Who knows where we'd be at if we failed to gain those extra points.
Johansen has zero regulation or OT game-winning goals.
And I believe "won" two shootouts and scored in another shootout win but did not have the game winning attempt.
I don't see this "clutch" you are talking about.
In the past, I'd vote Dubinsky. This season? Foligno. Hands down.
