Is the glass man ready

Could use a good game from him

Season on the line Game 3, we need Samsonov to not let in 1-2 sieve goals a game

We also need John Tavares to finish one of the 5 chances nylander sets him for

Ron Hextall - we could use the offence to go along with the goaltending!

While I don't disagree at all that Samsonov needs to be better, that also doesn't change the fact that this team could benefit from a timely goal or two.

Not a chance they switch. Agree with someone above, shame Murray isn't available. At this point even if he was he hasn't played in forever and I don't see him getting the nod even if cleared to play, but you sure wish the A-B tenders had both bveen going down the stretch.

Not that Sammy has been bad.
A shame? Dude, Murray blows. Him being injured taking away Keefe's ability to play him is one of the best things to happen to this team

Two Cups is two Cups. I'd run him out next game in a different situation.. actually I'd have gone to him yesterday to see if he felt like stealing the net from Sammy. Academic discussion though, he's not going even if available. Sammy or bust.

Luckily, Leafs GM planned for just such an occasion and that is why he invested the largest cap % at the goalie position in Matt Murray in case Sammy with his inexperience struggled in the playoffs.

I've been highly critical and vocal of Leafs management combined goalie decisions all year, claiming Murray injury history and unreliability, as well as Sammy inexperience would be the Leafs downfall this year.

However, what a get opportunity for Dubas to prove me and all the other doubters wrong by rolling out his #1 G choice with past Stanley Cup experience from years ago and ask Murray to save the Leafs season. We all know already that this is not likely going to happen.

Instead, if the Leafs do move away from Sammy its more than likely the Leafs turn to Lou Lamoriello drafted goalie of the future in Joseph Wall to make the case.

Like Sammy is hurt right? I mean he seems hurt. He's been clearly favoring his right (?) knee. I know we were in a situation to end the year but the last few games of the regular season he looked hurt and shouldnt have played and it's continued through the playoffs.

Putting Woll in a position to fail would be completely stupid. Kid is going to be good, let him soak up this playoff experience win or lose and he’ll be up with the Leafs full time next year and potentially get more playoff action.

Samsonov is obviously going to get the start next game.

Oettinger was a rookie coming into the playoffs last year. Hell 2 years ago a fresh out of college turned pro 2 weeks prior Spencer Knight became Florida's best option, after Bob and Dreidger failed.

Woll is older than both of them were at their playoff debuts. He'll be fine if he gets the call

If you're going into game 9 of the playoffs and you still can't settle what your forward lines should be, the defensive pairings and unsure who should start in net, I hate to break it to you, you're done.

So no, put Samsonov in net. For the love of all that is good and holy, decide and stick to your forward lines and show some faith in your guys. Maybe they don't deserve it, but constantly shuffling the deck after every game isn't helping.

Yes, this is entirely directed at Keefe. Infuriating watching him getting completely schooled every single round on how to coach an NHL team in the playoffs.
I wonder if Dubas will insist him and Keefe are a package deal when the season is over. I really wonder if that is a hill that Dubas will die on. As far as I am concerned, keeping Keefe negates most of the good stuff Dubas might pull off in the future and I would show them both the door. Right now its just Keefe that should be packing his bags...but you never know what might happen.

Samsonov

He’s letting in some shit-tastic goals, but woll is too much of a question mark, I’d go him game 4 though if we are down 3-0

This series isn’t even mostly on him, he’s been enough to win both games. We have been atrocious at finishing chances, we look like pavel barber or that guy who does weird flips with the puck and tricks on youtube , all hands no finish

B2B games we should’ve potted 4+

Good to see Mess actively posting again after a couple Leafs losses.

Samsonov. Woll is the future, don't ruin him now.
Valuable experience and next year's team could be worse.

Was really looking forward to see what Murray could do. Unfortunate.

If someone told me at the start of the playoffs the panthers would beat Boston and Toronto and be in the conference final, I’d ask where they got the good stuff from….
