Who would you rather have: Juraj Slafkovsky or Brady Tkachuk

Who's more valuable to a franchise ? Both are very unique top 6 players (Or should be) and in 2018 I didn't want Brady because I thought he was going to be a #3-5 forward, I think Slafkovsky has the skill to be #1 but not quite the floor Tkachuk had.

At this juncture it has to be Brady. He defines the identity of what the Sens are trying to be, and is kind of the face of the franchise. Slafkovsky could very well become a more impactful player on the ice, but I'm not sure he'll have that same off ice impact.

I mean... it would be a pretty disappointing outcome for a #1 overall to only reach Brady's level. I know he's on the lower end of #1 picks, but if you're Montreal turning out as good as Brady should be the expected floor, not ceiling.

I guess that would also make Nick Suzuki's contract a total albatross, considering they make about the same amount but Brady produces more while also being a leader on/off the ice and a physical force.

Love the sens but I’m going with slaf for contract reasons and I’m ignoring Brady’s in a way. Even if Brady was at 7.5 mil, Slaf is on an elc.
