This is where it gets fun, but I still have to go with Stutzle here. He's got some work to do as well but that ceiling is off the charts. I like Raymond here too, it's tough.

Couldn’t say it better @Raccoon Jesus 9 out of 10 days I am Stutzle over Raymond but every once in a while Drysdale enters the mind. If draft is today I pick Stutzle.

Stutzle for sure. Raymond’s got the wheels, but Stutzle is always pressing and always creating. I love his play style. Some of his highlights reminds me of Peter Forsberg.

New Jersey has the 6th,10th and 17th as it sits now! But that could change. They have the 10th from Coyotes in the Hall trade and 17th from Tampa from Vancouver in the JT Miller deal. I think the Canucks have the option on that deal though and will probably defer to 2021

Stuetzle scares the hell outta me mainly because the level of competition in the German league is equivalent to what...the bad teams of the AHL? And if he scored only 7 goals there how many will he score in the NHL...3,4,5...He has speed I'll give him that but so do a lot players...speed without goals doesn't amount to much...speed and goals scares the hell outta the opponents!

At the beginning of the season I would've said Raymond, but I really like the look of Stutzle. I think he's everything that the Kings are looking for right now. One thing that I think our system lacks is a true play maker. A guy who can create offense for himself and his teammates. A guy like Kaliyev is a lethal goal scorer because he gets to the right positions, but he still needs someone to pass the puck to him. If you have a center or winger who can draw defensemen and create some space for his linemates its going to open up the offense more and not be so one dimensional. I think that's what guys like Lafreniere, Stutzle and Raymond can do.

Are you aware that he's a playmaker? He makes his linemates dangerous. If you paid attention to the World Juniors, he was constantly creating chances because of his vision and playmaking abilities. The guy is a wizard with the puck. Observe.

Interesting--who would you then target?

I don't think they'd bite unless their absolute guy is there, but it's an interesting thought experiment.

Totally. His shot scares me, and the DEL is just absolute dumpster fire defense. But we all know what we saw in other places as well vs his peers dominating (see above) and that's a buzzsaw that makes plays for everyone else. Give him a guy like Kaliyev and watch, imo.

Also, Draisaitl turned out great and Seider is looking like an absolute monster

Stutzle's shooting definitely is an area of weakness, but I think with some added strength he can improve on that.

What's also worth noting is the fact that in Germany's developmental league, Draisaitl scored 21 goals and 56 points in 35 games. Stutzle scored 23 goals and 55 points in 21 games. Draisaitl never played in the men's league however because he joined the Prince Albert Raiders.

I think once Stutzle is drafted, he's going to be playing somewhere in North America. His CHL rights are owned by the Seattle Thunderbirds, but if he's signed, he could be playing in the AHL, or NHL if he's physically ready.

I agree with a lot of what you said except for mentioning Kaliyev...Not sold on him yet...he has put up big numbers but defensively he's horrible and his fitness level needs to improve considerably. He needs to play in a league not Junior or the NHL...too bad we couldn't send him to SM-Liiga or SHL or even the KHL!

Stuetzle is fast and shifty I'll give him that and he's even a pretty good passer, Is he a LWinger at the NHL level or Centre? Who does he play with Turcotte or Kopitar? Is Stuetzle a Kane type or Yafallo?Where does he play next year,NAmerica or Germany? Can Stuetzle score against NHL 'tenders or is he just another 1 trick fly up and down the Wing player that shoots into the goaltenders pads? There are many things to consider and more as they unveil the mystery that is an 18 year talent who plays in a marginal league against marginal talent. I would rather the Sens take him than to see the Kings whiff badly personally

Stuztle is 17 and playing big in a men’s league. He’s not as great of a scorer as a few others on this bunch but his ability to break away and make plays are really incredible. I just couldn’t pass on this guy cuz he’s shown he can do it against men. There’s only one other forward I consider picking in front of him and thats Rossi but still I gotta with Stutzle at 3. Imagine him 3 on 3 on OT with Kopi and Dewy.

Not sure NJ would view this as equal value. They might do #6 overall and their first pick in the 2nd round. New Jersey also owns Boston's 2nd round pick, so they might be willing to give up their 2nd round pick.

If I was Blake, I wouldn't do that deal (#6 plus NJ 2nd) though. If he could get #6 and #15 overall, he should consider it.
