I saw someone say that hiring Sullivan now feels very similar to the JT acquisition.

If it had happened 2/3 years ago, you’re probably feeling pretty great about the state of the team and its chances to win.

But with where this squad is at the moment and it’s ceiling, it’s just not enough of an improvement to matter

You are right. If you are a NHL coach that has been with your team longer than 3 years right now you are one of the longest lasting coaches.

Sully's gotta be different to the other two, and he was their first choice all along.

Sullivan with a well picked staff should be a HUGE upgrade over Lavy/Housely

This team is one year removed from a Presidents trophy.

The core isnt 37-38 years old like Pitt they are still in the latter half of their prime years.

They have a few young players with potential.

JT Miller is most definitely a vet upgrade.

Shesty was left out to dry in that Housely defense. He was not the same Shesty we know.
