I can't remember the division being this close before. It is anyones for the taking.

I think Florida. They are in the lead now and are still getting Marchand added in at some point, and also Tkachuk maybe for a couple games .

Tampa Bay. Florida has a lot of guys out and Toronto's Toronto. Anybody's guess though.

Lightning haven't won their division since 2019. We do still have home games left with both the Leafs and Panthers, but we blow so hot and cold, I wouldn't be surprised if we dropped three straight at some point and torpedoed our divisional chances.

It's annoying because nothing that I've seen tells me Toronto is objectively better than the Lightning overall, but head-to-head the Leafs have dominated this matchup for a while.

That stuff does not matter with 14 games to go. 1 more regulation win. Basically identical records.

I mean, it matters for who's in the lead, which is what the question was, and the answer you erroneously corrected.

Kind of bizarre to take the time to "correct" someone when they are right, and then when you're mistake is pointed out you claim it "doesn't matter."

Has it really been this long?

**** I'm old. Seems like yesterday.
