Tough choice this year. I’m leaning towards Tampa or L.A but going with Tampa. Funny thing is that if those were the two teams meeting in the final I’d be mighty tempted to put my money on L.A.
It’s that close for me.

I like Tampa and its offensive depth and star power. I want Edmonton but too many question marks to pick them.

Tampa has been so good for so long and looks to have plenty more in the tank. Vegas and Tampa are great examples of how a very well franchise doesn't need to go into the ghastly rebuilding mode.

Tampa is the only East team I see winning TBH. I have my doubts about at least 3-4 of these teams in the East even making the postseason next year so does not inspire a ton of confidence in them winning the cup this year. I believe at least 3-4 teams can come out of the west.

The East is relatively weak.

I look at Tampa's roster and they've done a great job retooling. That's a cup-winning roster.

Some West teams look great too, I could see Colorado winning the Cup. But I could also see Dallas knocking them out in the first round.

Vegas has the easiest road to go through. Colorado should get by Dallas and their rd 2 matchup shouldn't be difficult. Ditto for the winner of TB/FL.

My money would be on the Avs overall, but any of those 4 are likely

In a world I would call perfect, the Oilers and Canadiens play in the final and the Oilers win in 6 but everyone and their mom knows that won't happen.

This might sound fairly bold but I think we see a repeat of the 22-23 final but this time Florida edges Vegas in 7 games.

Caps look well rounded to me and they don't panic when they're down a couple of goals. Finished 2nd in the league. Ovechkin factor he's playing great hockey and should be well rested.
