Speculation: Who will replace Jagr?

Now that Jagr is gone who will replace Jagr on that line? Will the coaches mix up the lines or will they call up Boucher or Matteau to slot in? Or does Lou just put Havlat with them and keep it within the current team?

To early to tell, if Ryder/Havlat stay then one of them probably slots in otherwise we'll need to make some call-ups.

I would slot in Ryder at the RW spot until the deadline to see if he can get any interest. Then insert Boucher or Matteau, hell even give Paul Thompson a look with what he's been able to do this season in Albany

There is no need to worry about "showcasing" a player. The scouts have access to game footage and the internet just like everyone else (in addition to being at the games). Ryder has been in the league for 10 years and played with the Bruins, they know what he is. Everyone was so worried about Jagr's value diminishing with with minutes going down and looked what happened.
