Speculation: who will replace Evans and Army if they are traded?

We'll cross that bridge when we get to the river, that said we have stuff to move at the TDL, but we are not doing a fire sale. Pretty sure we will focus on moving the guys that will fetch a decent return and not bother with the rest and let them walk at the end of the season.

I think we move two players at most.

I think two is right, unless team are willing to spend hard this year. I think we will be comfortable with just keeping a player if the best we can get for him is a 3rd round pick.

They shouldn't touch Laval. They're decimated by injuries and they're among the top teams in the AHL. They shouldn't mess with it much, particularly two of the top scorers on the team in ABB and Roy.

Also remember, after the TDL, teams are allowed 4 regular call ups. So if they call up Roy and ABB, that is 2 of their call ups. And my guess is they will paper Beck and Struble to ensure they're available for a Laval playoff push and call them up. So there go 4 of your call ups in one shot.

Even if they weren’t….. let’s be honest, there’s simply nothing there that’s NHL caliber, except Redenbacher who’s missed a lot of time & needs to take the puck and run w the go to role he has in Laval.

If they’re gonna trade Armia and Evans I hope they’re getting better players back who can help us get to the playoffs. Or it better be for a king’s ransom. Otherwise keep them for the run.

That seems to be HuGo’s stance per all the talking head takes - blow us out of the water on a deal or no go

Alex Belzile and RHP did a good job a couple of years ago.

If we can get a 1st for Evans and Armia, maybe bring them back and see if they can do it agan.
