What if I told you that a year after making this post that RBA would sweep Trotzs team out of the 2nd round of the playoffs?

I would have thought we hired Trotz and had perhaps the most Canes thing ever happen.

Man, we were still holding out hope for Boychuk, Bowman and Dalpe back then.

That was the strike year right? Boy the wheels sure fell off that wagon in a hurry.

On March 12, almost exactly the midpoint of the season, we were 4th in the east, 1st in the division and had a plus-10 goal differential.

By March 26, we were in 10th place and had a minus-4 goal differential, and it only got worse from there.

That was one of the more disappointing/letdown seasons for a sports team I've ever followed for sure.
