There’s like 3 good choices in the 2-6 range. I think they might get a good one.Flyers are a bit of a dark horse. They are plummeting like a stone down the standings to end the year and it’s hard to see help on the way in the near future. The center depth is among the worst in the league
Both are correct, I think. EP40 gets back to PPG+ form, they trade half of their limited futures for forward help, and it's probably a playoff team. 50 point EP, a couple mediocre FA signings, and no Demko/shitty Demko, could be bottom 5.Canuck fans and media seem to think we're a couple pieces away from a decent team I see a team a couple pieces away from Gavin McKenna.
Karlsson may or may not be that player now, but he definitely wasn't with the Sens. No one who remembers the 2017 playoffs would make such a blanket statementBro, proof is in the pudding. He plays his game, not winning hockey. There’s a reason his teams never got a Final. Letang has three rings & is a core component to those wins. Karlsson is a points getter, nothing more.
He wasn’t “misused”, he’s just not a guy you win with.

He was also a beast in the playoffs with the Sharks, playing on one leg. And that's BEFORE his 100pt season. Pitts is just failing to utilize his talent.Karlsson may or may not be that player now, but he definitely wasn't with the Sens. No one who remembers the 2017 playoffs would make such a blanket statement
hope its the flamesI see Gavin either being a Canuck, Flame or Penguin.
His style of play never got Ottawa to a Final when he was there. Didn’t help San Jose either.Karlsson may or may not be that player now, but he definitely wasn't with the Sens. No one who remembers the 2017 playoffs would make such a blanket statement
Wrong again. He’s a turnover machine & a huge liability in his own end. He refuses to adapt to the situation & scenario. That’s on the player. He was also a beast in the playoffs with the Sharks, playing on one leg. And that's BEFORE his 100pt season. Pitts is just failing to utilize his talent.
Hopefully McKenna is playing in the Statesmckenna must go to a canadian team, end of the line
Predators had zero intention of being this bad it’s just coaching that has been bad. Hopefully they get a better system and get back in the playoff hunt next year.Nashville has been bottom three this year and definitely had no intentions on tanking.
Pittsburgh is too stupid to tank. But they might end up being that bad unintentionally.Predators had zero intention of being this bad it’s just coaching that has been bad. Hopefully they get a better system and get back in the playoff hunt next year.
Look everyone knows Pittsburgh is getting McKenna, so why worry about something that Bettman has already fixed. Go out and try to win.
What system is Chuckles using over in Pittsburgh? Because nobody outside of Crosby/Rakell looks decent.Wrong again. He’s a turnover machine & a huge liability in his own end. He refuses to adapt to the situation & scenario. That’s on the player.
The Pens have historically had a plethora of offensive minded defensemen going back to Paul Coffey. This isn’t something new. The truly good ones adapted their game to fit into the system. Karlsson does not. That’s on him.
You think the Canucks will fall off that much? Feel like the goaltending and Hughes will prevent thatI see Gavin either being a Canuck, Flame or Penguin.
They deserve it. They are both bad teams that need a low pick. Now if the Sharks get it ,it would make it 2 in a row and if i'm correct no more 1st for the next 3 seasons allowed? Same with the Hawks? Anybody.
The NHL has a rule in place to prevent this, limiting a team's lottery wins to a maximum of two within a five-year period. This rule, implemented starting in 2022, aims to prevent teams from consistently benefiting from the lottery and to ensure a more even distribution of top draft picks.
wouldnt make a big deal about it. Teams suck for years get the best draft pick and still dont improve, it happens. If San Jose or Chicago ends up with McKenna next year, how would fans from other teams feel?
Northeast Media Bias. Most media types not married to the game enough to stay up late and watch many of Celebrini's (home) games, nor savvy enough to prioritize watching Sharks games when they're on the road in the Central and Eastern Time Zone.wouldnt make a big deal about it. Teams suck for years get the best draft pick and still dont improve, it happens.
I barely saw much of Celebrini in San Jose this season as it was unless he was playing on tv or sports highlights. Heard more about Michkov and other rookies than I did Celebrini.
Karlsson in 2017 and Keith in 2015 are the two biggest carry jobs I've ever seenKarlsson may or may not be that player now, but he definitely wasn't with the Sens. No one who remembers the 2017 playoffs would make such a blanket statement
I agree with SJ. Cause with tanking we have to Factor in the GM’s and hc’s tenure. Would they survive a bottom 3 season next year? There will be bad teams as there always are but I legitimately think the only teams that will be "tanking" next year are San Jose and Pittsburgh
