Who wears the letters next season?

Who will wear the C and the A's next season, and who do you think should wear them?

I expect Callahan to retain the C. If Staal is healthy and back playing, I expect him to retain his A too. Only way he loses it is if he have to sit out the whole of next year or something like that.

Richards on the other hand. If he is not bought out of his contract, I don't see him keeping the A next season. It's just wierd having one of your captains on the 4th line.

staal and cally maintain... if richards has his letter stripped it goes to girardi or stepan... pref stepan tbh (would rather girardi get the other A over staal)
 
C - Callahan
A - Staal
A - Girardi

Since Girardi is wearing Staal's A, I think it's a pretty safe bet that he'll be keeping it. This is all assuming Richards is stripped, though.
 
I don't think Stepan is ready for a letter. He has to stop being completely invisible in the playoffs first.

He's been one of our better players considering he got some shots on goal this series, netted what would have, could have been the game winner in game 1. Played solid defensively when everything seems to be falling apart. His 2 game winners in the first round are worth something as well. He's our leading goal scorer, is he not? If we're going on the basis of disappearing in the POs, Callahan should not get a letter for the most part. Again, if that's the measure, Henrik will get

CAAA
 
the other A should go to Lindberg Miller or McILrath over Richards....



but seriously Stepan Brassard or Dorsett should get the A. Dorsett wore it on the Jackets past 2 seasons i believe.
 
Callahan keeps the C because of his hard work.

Staal keeps the A by default...has not done anything to lose it.

The rest are told nobody deserves another A...it has to be earned.

They are either going to buy Richards out in which case we can all speculate about who gets the "A" (although it has zero tangible impact on wins and losses) OR Richards will be back for one more season. If he is back, he retains the "A" (Just like Drury retained the C even when he was a shell of himself).

Further embarrassing a proud player serves no purpose. The leaders of the team ARE the leaders, regardless iof what letter (if any) they have on their jersey.
 
My guess is it's the same unless Richards is amnestied, then I'd guess Girardi or Nash get that 'A'.
 
It seems like the team honors whether you've worn a letter in the past for the team, so if Richards loses the A or his roster spot Girardi probably takes the A. I'm sure Stepan and then Nash would be on deck to wear one if anyone got hurt.
 
Tired of this ****. Henrik deserves the C. I don't care if it goes to a position player. He's the back bone of this team. Scratch that... he is this team.

Give him the C. Leave it at that.
 
Depends if Torts is still the coach or not, Callahan retains the C, Staal and Girardi get the A's if Richards is bought out. New coach I think Callahan retains the C but the A's could change.
