Pretty easy for an agent to say here’s where we start, as internal caps are easier for an agent instead of comps on other teams.

Scores more, plays more, younger, and cap going up. Pretty easy for any agent worth his salt to say here’s the floor in negotiations.

I think Bouchard gets a lot smaller deal then expected. Away from Mcdrai he hasn't been very good and his defensive play is bad. Chychrun will get the bigger deal because of term. I think Oilers will try doing shorter deal with Bouchard.

I think Chychrun will get close to 9 AAV and I think Bouchard will shoot for around 11. Will be interesting to see what these two and what Dobson get. Cap couldn’t have projected much better for them over 3 years or at a better time for them.

Bouchard is a fraud who mooches of the other two guys while playing defense akin to a bottom pairing guy.

Oilers are very lucky he wasn't an RFA last year because after a fluke year he has regressed to the same guy he's always been and the smart oiler fans even recognize the bullet they dodged.

Bouchard. Imo Chychrun has been on different clubs and finally has one that’s a winner and there he fits. He will sign a long term deal at a team friendly cap hit to stay where he is. The Oilers don’t have a pp guy to replace what Bouchard does. He’s getting 80 + million there.

Chychrun was PP1 while Ovi was hurt. Not sure he's still PP1 but he's the clear Carlson replacement.
