Speculation: Who should the Bruins hire as their next Head Coach?

My gut says Donskov simply because he'd be a fresh, brand new head coach with a brand new, never before seen vision and will most likely go on to have a great/successful coaching career in the NHL. Or we could end up with Torts/Sullivan/Laviolette/InsertGenericNameHere. Who TF actually knows what they're gonna do. Maybe go all in for Sacco (McKenna 2026)
The current lineup as is, is better than Chicago and Co. We would never get McKenna

Sweeney like myself knows Geekie & Pastrnak took off once Monty gone

He also knows like myself they blew it up on March 7th and would play final 20 games without McAvoy, Hampus, Frederic, Coyle, Carlo, and Marchand.

Sweeney like myself knows they traded/lost to injury FIVE players who wore letters

Any coaching decision to make sure Pastrnak & Geekie maintain the level of production

Sweeney like myself knows the answer

This is how new players are going to be introduced to the Bruins. “Hi, my name is David and this is my assistant, Morgan. Welcome to our country club!”

No coach was sitting Bergeron.

There were lots of people saying don't let #37 get on the flight to Montreal, especially after Ullmark looked like he got injured right before the Montreal game against Washington. Allowing him to play in Montreal ended his career. The injuries to
Bergeron and Ullmark doomed them from advancing. Saying they couldn't say no to Bergeron is ridiculous.

Some other names I'd consider include Jeff Halpern, Davis Payne, Jeremy Colliton, Manny Malhotra, Mike Van Ryan, Marco Sturm, John Gruden, Kirk Muller and Glen Gulutzan. Might as well cast a wide net.

How about peter L for the job after getting booted out from rags? Too old I guess.
I hate this idea. He always looks like he's got the worst case of stomach ulcers. That kind of angry intensity might work in the short run, but the B's' problem this season wasn't lack of effort, but injuries, lack of structure, shaky goaltending, and lack of young talent after years of trading away draft picks. I would prefer keeping Sacco if I thought he could improve the defensive structure and the power play.

I’m not comfortable with the idea that the likes of Morgan Geekie is a consideration in your next coaching hire. He’s a nice player and had a great year. All fine and good. But getting the most out of him is hardly a top priority in a coaching hire.
