Who should be the next GM of.....Buffalo?

Honestly they should just pay some intern to use chatgpt as a gm. For example in the off-season they can ask questions like, "what nhl free agents should the Sabres sign" or "what contract should the Sabres re sign player x to."

It can't honestly be any worse.

Sabres fans have blamed the whole ladder from players to GM. Ownership is next and Pegula wont sell until it is profitable enough to do so.

Should Kevyn Adams gets fired? Absolutely. Will he get fired? Depends how much ass kissing he does to Pegula's cheeks. Feels like ass kissing is more important than winning in Buffalo.

Since Boston is such a good organization (according to that cringe thread here) then that would mean Jim Benning and Peter Chiarelli should be the GM and president of hockey ops

Surprised Dean Lombardi never got a GM job again

He did a lengthy podcast with Cam Janssen and Andy Strickland last year and they asked him about it. Lombardi said something to the effect that he doesn't want to do the travel required to be a GM at his age (66). He also mentioned how a GM's duties goes beyond just player personnel and how much of his day would be devoted to the business side of the team which he didn't enjoy. Lombardi said he was happy to be an advisor with the Flyers and only having to deal with the hockey ops. Lombardi seemed content to be semi-retired at his northern California ranch.
