Dallas vs NYR final and Dallas takes it.

FWIW FanDual still has Oilers as the best odds:

Things look grim for the Oilers now but not all is lost.

Drai stepped up before when McDavid was injured. Especially post deadline, when we have McDavid and Kane at 100% and having extra rest time, and potentially a deadline addition to patch the defense, the team probably wins at a #1 pace till the playoffs and is well set up for a deep run

If Florida goes the final 3 years in a row that's crazy. I just can't see that happening. Too much variance in this league.

Colorado.......Nichushkin translates in the playoffs and really completes the team.........

The best team in hockey if they get any kind of goaltending.....

Well, after watching the Rangers get their bootycheeks clapped for 60 minutes by Washington I might have to reconsider my pick to win. Perhaps my prediction for last year's cup Final will prove true -- Dallas Vs Carolina, with Dallas taking it

Oiler fan saying they look like dog shit so far so surprised to see them being picked by so many in this thread

They can still turn it around but while early they don’t look close to Vegas, Dallas, NYR or Florida
To be fair the Oilers barely looked better than the Anaheim ducks to start last season as well

If COL can get a healthy top 6 of Drouin/MacK/Rant/Lehk/Mittelstadt/Nichushkin + Wood/Colton/LOC 3rd line + healthy top 4 of Makar/Toews/Girard/Manson and just average 4th line/bottom pair/goaltending to fill in the rest then i don't see them losing a 7 game series. BUT...unfortunately for them its seemed all but impossible for them to keep those specific players all together/healthy for more than a game or 2. If they can get them all for the playoffs(plus potentially Landeskog, too) then that's my pick. Avs have the highest potential ceiling, IMO. With VGK and FLA right up there too for a close 2nd and 3rd in no particular order. 4th and 5th would be Dallas and NYR.
