Who is the Leafs other goalie next year?

For the record I want a Blackwood/Reimer/Allen of who's left, but I'd put money on them getting Korpisalo for Holl or something like that

Samsonov, Blackwood or James Reimer for me.

Someobody who can play some games at a reasonably high level.

Murray has never started more than 50 in a season so the back-up is going to have to play.

Samsonov, but we need to move Kerf and Holl or even Muzzin. No cap space for anything after the Murray move, and Sammy likely looking at close to 3 million I would guess?

Someone’s going to give Samsonov a stupid contract (Buffalo) so he’s probably not an option.

I thought the devils committed to a Vanecek-Blackwood tandem already?

I think it’ll be Comrie or one of the goalies from the Sharks.

How much do the Leafs have available to spend on a backup goalie and still fill out other spots and re-sing RFA's?

$2 mil or less?

Most of those option listed would out of that cost range.

So I"m going with "Play the Kids" ... Joseph Woll

However Dubas went after and signed Harri Säteri at the TD, and lost him on waivers, so going back to that well again this time without waiver wire risk.

"Seravalli suggested 25-year-old goaltender Ilya Samsonov — who wasn't given a qualifying offer by the Washington Capitals — as a potential target to fill out Toronto's tandem, but such a move would likely require Toronto clearing some cap space, perhaps by dealing defender Justin Holl."

Well, that kills that idea. No way Dubas moves any of his, ahem, core to fill the biggest current need in Leafland between the pipes ... (There's a lot of sarcasm there if wasn't clear)

I’m gonna freak if Holl is in the lineup at the start of the season. Fingers crossed they get rid of him. Getting Samasonov is icing on the cake.

yep, not like they were shopping him last year, would never move him

I'm not sure that was the case.
I can't recall a player Dubas was known to be shopping that didn't get dealt. Then again it's late and my brain is already asleep, so there may be dozens.
