Robertson for sure, expected much more with his camp. Domi hasn't been great but he's obviously playing through injury and should be given some leeway for that.

The biggest disappointment is Mitch Marner.

Specifically the fact he's still on the team. I'm not sure who to blame for that. A combination of Treliving's shortcomings and the player himself.

It's disappointing they keep bringing him back every year.

Don't get me wrong I think Marner is a good player. But like Kessel before him he's a complimentary piece. A lot of empty calorie points makes him great to have around once the real stars are on the team.

But for the price he commands Marner should be doing it all himself.

That means not riding shotgun with an $11M centre. It's frustrating to see him earn so much and still needing support like that. Let him go earn eight figures riding the coattails of some other teams star players.

The most disappointing thing they could do is re-sign him now.

For me it's Beniot. His play has really slipped without Mccabe on his right side. It is surprising considering how well Timmins has played.
I can't be dissapointed in Domi as he has shown through out his career he does not perform well at center. He is best used as a winger with a quality shooter.
As for Roberston again he is a player who is not going to score unless he is getting quaility PP time and playing on a top 6 line. He has played well on the third line for the most part but not really a fit on this team. Should have traded him before the season started when he was on his heater.

Matthews… this goes all the way back to last year, when he mysteriously did not come out for the 3rd period.

It was disappointing then and has not improved into this season.

Liljegren. He was disappointing enough that he could quietly disappear without anyone giving it a second thought. I won't miss him.

Robertson, obviously, hasn't had a good season so far. He'd be my 2nd choice. But he's also hit the post like 5 times. I think he can still contribute somewhere. Although it's probably time that the somewhere became somewhere else.

Good question. Quite a few have not impressed for different stretches but I’m not seeing anyone stand out as far as not putting in an honest effort. Those are the types that disappoint me.

Domi for me. I really liked Tie, and I like the Leaf connection too. Max played pretty good last year but even with that he has his limitations. I'm not sure he is in the team when/if healthy come playoff time imo. We are a bigger tougher team now. We don't need his grit or his stupid penalties.

Robertson's goal drought is a bit puzzling but he's hustling and making plays and I think Berube sees that. Needs to get on the score sheet.

Still playing it has to be Robertson.

You weren't expecting him to light it up, but 18-1-0-1, his goal in a blowout loss, getting hemmed in bad at least once a game and showing he's still too weak to fight through NHL contact.

I said it before but you have a time machine you trade him after he lights up the preseason, maybe you get a 2nd. Now you get maybe a 3rd or he's a throw in.

Matthews compete level is an issue for me, that poorly impacts the team.
Reilly, his constant pinching and doesnt seem to realize its not working, although in the last 6 games, he stopped doing that.
Robertson, not at all, he has played 105 NHL games in his career. He can score 20 goals this year still, if he gets going and in the future can score 25 -30 goals for sure in the right situation.
