Speculation: Who is the high quality player on your team who just isn't meshing on any lines?

I'd say when he gets healthy, Evander Kane. If the additions of Skinner/Arvidsson means no top 6 spot I'm not sure how 5.1m fits on the 3rd line.

If Kane can come back healthy, I'd like to see if he could fit back with McDavid. We've tried plenty of Kane with Draisaitl and I just don't think there's a fit there. I like RNH on Draisaitl wing. I guess it comes down to how Skinner looks in the top 6 when Kane is healthy. Cause Skinner is kinda a top 6 or bust.

Timo Meier has been the best player on that line, if anyone is not fitting in there it's Hughes, who has been terrible to start the season.

The entire Ducks roster... when we've scored 3 times in 2 games...

As a fan I'm more afraid of receiving a power play because of the potential of giving up a shorty is higher than us scoring.

Timo and Jack don't seem to fit, but Timo was great to end the season last year, so this seems to be more of an issue with those two in particular not meshing rather than Timo not meshing with anyone

Now that I think about it now though, you don't really want Timo on line 3 and Keefe wants to match Nico's line against opponents top lines which may not be the preferred way to use Timo either. So maybe in that way he doesn't fit with the team lol

I don’t know if the Flyers have the right line mates for Couturier, now that he’s lost yet another step. He’s still good at everything he’s good at, but he moves like his skates are made of concrete. He’d be great with a couple grind it out, puck possession guys who control the zone and apply pressure down low, but we’re a dump and chase team by Tortorella’s design, and he’s a dump and figure it out 20 seconds later guy now.

lukas Reichel seems to be the odd man out. at 20 he put up 16 pts in 22 games. they played him at Center early last year and that was a mistake. and had been scratched 4 game still only 22. does not feel like the Coach wants to give him a chance.

Necas dances alone. To be fair he deserves another chance with Aho to see if it works but RBA presumably likes Necas away from Aho as it spreads out the offense and Necas CAN create on his own. He has been good with Svech at times but overall Necas has spent much of his career creating solo acts of artistry.

Matias Maccelli for Utah. Lately he’s been on the 4th line with Stenlund and Carcone. It’s only going to get worse when Bjugstad comes back from injury. I feel like he could be the piece Armstrong can sacrifice to bring in another good defenseman.

He had a nice run with the Yotes but I’m doubtful Maccelli is bringing back a good defenseman in the National Hockey League lol
