I'll go with Ellis here.
Solid showing in the AHL to end the year. I don't know that's all that far behind Zherenko at this point(could even steal Springfield's starter role).

After Ellis, I think you're looking at some real long-shots.
I'd think Burns and Fischer would be next, but I also don't want to discount Gaudet, Peterson and Stancl.

Honestly the last 3 or so picks and every pick going forward is just throwing darts at a dart board. There are about 6-8 guys I could make an argument for. I am making my choice on who I think has the most upside as everyone left are long shots to be more than a part time NHLer. I think I am going Burns, Kaskimaki or Kos here. Gonna think on a bit more before voting.

Big Burns fan. Fun to watch for Kingston. Took on the tough minutes and assignments all year. Has a mean streak. Good first pass. He could develop into a 4-6 guy.

I went with Stancl again. Same reason's as before. HM to P Fischer. I like him better than Burns.

I think both Stancl and Fischer will sneak up people list after the WJC.

Tage Thompson broke out in his D+6 season, so that puts Robertsson on track for the 2026-2027 season.

I think Fischer is being underrated here. He adapted to college hockey very well as a freshman IMO. I see him in a similar vein as Kessel. Won’t wow you in any one area but he has a good first pass and his skating is surprisingly good. I have him right in line with L. Fischer, Ralph and Burns. P. Fischer doesn’t have the height of the others but he seems stout and not afraid to play the body. I see all of them with similar potential. I’m going to go out on a limb and say Paul will make the US WJC team in the #5-7 d-man range.

Ivan already has 2nd line complimentary NHL skill and had a good year in the KHL

Also liked him a lot in person at last years dev camp.
