Doesn’t mean any are on Kucherov’s level. It’s clearly Kucherov, but the question of who’s second is much more interesting
yup, in my biased opinion, I take Marner 2nd. An elite player you can play in all situations and even have him play D in a pinch is just too hard to pass up.

Take Kuch and Kap out and I’d be more interested who people think is 3rd
I take Marner over Kap, all the extra roles Marner can play make him the more valuable option IMO.

Kucherov deserves the distinction based on what he's done in recent years (including last year).

Not that he's not having a great season this year. I do think a case can be made that Kaprizov is having a slightly better season (or at least has been more valuable to his team so far), but just like with McDavid and MacKinnon, you give the benefit of the doubt to the guy who's been doing it longer.

All I know, is no one does more with less than Kaprizov. Everyone else plays with a high end center.

I mean Rantanen, Kaprizov, Marner, Necas with extremely good seasons too
Kucherov just won his second Art Ross and looks like he's gonna be in the race again this year.

I think everyone else is at least 12 months worth of accomplishments away from making this a real conversation, no matter what they're doing right now.
