Who is most likely to become an elite player from the 2019 draft?

So I omitted obvious players who are on the verge or already elite. So no Jack Hughes, Moritz seider.

Instead the list is full of players that have a long way to go and it's more likely none of these guys end of becoming stars. BUT.. if you were to bet on one of these becoming one, who would it be?

I wasn't sure if I should add Caufield, Boldy or Zegras. Caufield and Boldy are close to a PPG so you could argue they are "on the verge". But then again, a PPG isnt what it used to be. Zegras is arguably not on the verge but that seems injury related more than anything.. he had the most productive 20 and 21 year old seasons other than Hughes..

Wolf wasn't added cause he's statistically been one of the top goalies in the league..


Anyways let me know your thoughts on whether I should add them or anyone else, or omitt certain players if they could be argued as on the verge to stardom.

Probably Byram. Injuries slowed his development and he looks to have more to give and could take his game up a level in time as he ages. The rest really seem to be what they are and none of them have given me any indication that there is another gear to unlock that would elevate their games.

He was the only guy that stuck out with a chance and while I've always liked him and think that he can still ahve a very good career I doubt that he will ever be elite.

Yeah, none of the listed players are going to be considered elite, at least from what’s been shown so far
