Who Is Going To Washington?

Glad I didn't end up going, if there is a game 5 and we are not down 3-1 I'll go.
Ticket prices yesterday were down to $64.
Hard to tell if there were that many fans since we never scored but again on TV I thought I heard a faint "Let's Go Rangers" and then "Rangers suck" chant.

Those who went, am I right? What would you say the split was?

I agree on Caps fans, they used to be AWFUL. They would go out of their way to act little *(&^%( punks.
But in the past few years, they've been fine when I've gone. No problems at all. I don't know what happened but my only guess is the higher prices kicked the trash out.

My theory between higher prices is probably more due to less venom felt to Rangers fans. Maybe the Caps and Rangers frequently playing in the playoffs, and being relatively succesful. I've seen many a Cap fan be a jackass to Pens and Flyers fans. There still are the idiots, but in general, the stadium has moved more family, and less boozey college kid. Higher prices and college ticket prices disappearing probably helped. I also thnk the cocky jerk ness of Johnny come lately fans is realizing the consistent under performance of the Caps leads to more than their share of letdowns, so why rib other teams?

Honestly, was expecting more fans. Given I was in the 200's, and most fans are in the 400's so I can't speak for that. But there was maybe 1 or 2 rangers fans, apart from my dad in my section. kinda disappointing. Sooo excited for game 5 however, tix in the 400's. (if there is a game 5...)

I'm looking for a place to watch the game tonight in DC. Were there many Rangers fans at 51st state for games 1 and 2?
