Those three are some of the best playoff performers in the post-lockout era.

Stats:
Malkin: 67 Goals - 113 assists - 180 points - 177 games
Kane: 53 Goals - 82 assists - 138 points - 143 games
Kucherov: 53 goals - 114 assists - 167 points - 147 games

Stats in cup Finals:
Malkin: 8 goals, 10 assists, 18 points in 25 games
Kane: 7 goals, 9 assists, 16 points in 18 games
Kucherov: 6 goals, 14 assists, 20 points in 23 games

Malkin 3 cups 1 Smythe
Kane 3 cups 1 Smythe
Kucherov 2 cups 0 Smythe

Who do you think has had a better playoff career? And who would you pick if you had to choose one for a playoff run?. I prefer Kucherov, but I don't believe there's a wrong answer here.

At the end of the day it will be Kuch...he'll pass Malkin easily.

And peak Kuch>>>>>>>>malkin

It just is...not much to argue...only 3 players have ever had 90 points over 3 consecutive playoffs

I think it's just Kuch, Gretz and Mario...I think McDavid may have been added(not sure...someone do the math).

Malkin has the peak
Kane has the clutch moments
Kucherov has been the best overall

If I need one for a playoff run at their best, I take Malkin. If I need one to score a goal in overtime, I take Kane. If I need one without knowing which version of the player I am getting, I take Kucherov.

90 pts over 3 consecutive playoffs sure is great but really arbitrary.

Fair but when it happened it was everywhere from the NHL network to NHL.com to social media...it may be arbitrary but it's still special company. Think about it...3 consecutive playoffs...that's rare air

From NHL Network to NHL.com and everywhere in between.

The three players didn't peak in the playoffs in the same era. 102 of Kucherov's 147 games played occurred post 2017; 17-18 saw the big jump in team average GPG. Malkin and Kane have combined for 44 games played in the same time frame. Both players missed out on the early post-lockout high year (05-06) as well.

Kane's 28 points in 09-10 was really impressive for the time. Malkin's 36 in 08-09 was otherworldly.

I'm going with Kane.

Blackhawks cups just felt more special.
