Who else has very little interest in the Four Nations tournament?

I would love a NA vs World lax 5-on-5 allstar games with the old star players cracking jokes. But it seems many stars of today aren't as colourful as they were 20-30 years ago.

How can you not like best on best hockey tournament as a hockey fan? This ain’t gimmick all star games, every conditions point to players taking this seriously (they wanted it, preselect showing for OG)

It‘s just a joke.
Finland and Sweden should use this opportunity as a training camp for the Olympics.
Both North American teams will likely have other players, coaches etc.

Any tournament with 4 participants is lame to begin with, and no Russia just kills it for me. Love em or hate em, hockey is not the same without them. Olympics is more fun. There's usually a country that tends to surprise people, like Latvia did in 2014.

What are you going to watch instead? I'd prefer this gimmicky tournament wasn't even being held but for 2 weeks there won't be any NHL hockey on. So yes, I'll be watching but I'd rather just have full slate of NHL games.
