Who Do You Root For in the Crumbs Game?

I always think it's funny when announcers and/or fans try to promote a rivalry between the Devils and Islanders. After all, both only live to try to beat us. So I began to call any games between them the Crumbs Game, being that they are fighting over the crumbs left by the Rangers. Neither pick up any new fans unless they happen to good at the time, and both barely outnumber our fans in their own buildings when we play them. I tend to favor whichever one of them is worse at the time, but I never forget the hatred I've had for both of them over time. The one thing I can't forgive the Rangers for is allowing them both in the league. Tonight happens to be a Crumbs Game. So, who do you root for (if anyone) in the Crumbs Game?

For me it's always what I think is best for the Rangers in the standings. So tonight:

1. Isles in regulation
2. Isles in overtime
3. Devils

The only team in the East that transcends me checking the standings to decide who to cheer for, is Toronto. I always want them to lose.

Before the shmevils existed, I used to say that when the islanders played the flyers, I rooted for the roof to cave in.

The Islanders. It shouldn't even have to be asked. I'd give another four-peat to the Islanders to have the Devils fold.
