Voted Goyette but whatever, I'd be ok with Trikizov. All the guys I was hoping for got taken well before our pick.

Noah Warren incorporates several aspects where we lack; big ,strong, explosive, and agile.

We have guys like Niemela, Kokkonen, Villeneuve who are joining the ranks - they're all offensive or mid-ranged two-way defenders. Having a guy like Warren insulates a ton of that. He's big, he can skate like the wind, he's defensive, and he's a competitor.

This is a no brainer.

Chesley is number one with a bullet for me here, but a few other guys I would be ok with.

I'll go with Luneau, but TBH, I may be willing to trade down a few picks depending on who is left.

Him and Chesley are toss ups for me, but Luneau has some serious ability.

Yeah, I am pretty big on him personally. The size is a big factor here but the fact that he can also skate well is MASSIVE.

I just hope Lambert doesn't pan out of Winnipeg, thats who I would have taken at our pick, it's going to sting if he does so now I'm rooting against a young mans success, I'm a very good guy lol.

I would have taken Ryan Chelsey. It's all hindsight. Lambert is not and was not the BPA. I would have taken Mesar or Chelsey before him.

There are several players with equal potential around this area which is why the trade looks brilliant for Dubas

This is more or less the group i was okay with trading down to grab a couple of.
We still get 1 and it was good to see Mrazek moved without retention. So far so good for me.

I don’t mind the direction but I don’t think the Leafs would value those traits at 38.

If they ever kept any of their picks they could use draft capital and move up in the draft to secure the player they think so highly of. They probably should try that since we have been told this management team have such a great eye for draft eligible talent, seems strange to always pray the guy you want falls into your lap.

Doesn't matter whom the Leafs select, as Dubas will claim that the player they took they had him rated as a 1st rounder and would have taken him at #25 if they used their own pick.

However If Leafs dealt the pick to Ottawa for former Soo Greyhound goalie Matt Murray now that he has some free up cap from dumping Mrazek. that wouldn't really surprise anyone either I suppose.

Chesley or Gleb but i want to see Hutson so the board can have a meltdown over his height.
He's 5'8?!?!?
