f*** them. They're professionals not the local beer league. Go tell your boss you have a pack mentality and bond and don't want to do your job, let's see how long you'll last.
Chris Drury has decided to turn this organization into a clown show. How much of that is his own incompetance, how much of that is his own attempt at self-preservation with Dolan at the helm, I don't know. What i do know is - nobody within this organization (players or staff) are feeling any sense of loyalty or comraderie, and our performance this season should be no surprise as result. Drury is turning this franchise upside down. How someone who has won a Stanley Cup and experienced a healthy and productive culture can get it SO wrong as the leader of the organization, I can't explain. It's absolutely baffling and without explanation. I've never seen anything like it in my ~30 years of hockey. Without hyperbole, this is one of the most outrageous and pathetic efforts by the leader of a team I've ever witnessed.

Frankly, I have no loyalty to Drury but the fact that people are somehow making it Drury's fault that multi-millionare athletes have simply refused to do their job because their GM is mean is unfathomable to me. You want to get rid of Drury? Fine. But Drury getting out from bad contracts and trading guys resulting in players quitting on the team and fans being mad at DRURY and not the quitters who are stealing a f***ing paycheck is beyond belief for me.

There was an article about how the Bolts were mad how Stamkos was treated and yet they're having a good year. And Stamkos was a captain and for a while one of the best players in the league. Not f***ing bum ass Goodrow and even more bum ass Trouba. So either this doesn't have anything to do with Drury. Or even scarier our locker room is full of mentally weak and prideless p***yes.

I’m trying to think of a more lame stance than people who cape up for management lol

Management decided to build around a core with ages where the players will actively get worse as time goes on. Like the core players don’t get better from here. They get worse everyday moving forward.

The core players that management bet on aren’t good enough.

Tampa has made cut throat personnel decisions, but by all accounts Brisebois has treated his players with respect and kept a good dialog with them throughout. So, as upset as some players are, there aren't necessarily any burned bridges. Case in point is McDonagh wanting to return after a very tough exit.

Drury, on the other hand, has done the exact opposite. He has intentionally antagonized his staff and players for seemingly no reason. I'm thrilled he was able to trade Trouba, but he didn't speak to him once between the early July almost-trade to Detroit and the weekend of the trade to Anaheim. That's five months. It's embarassing. What kind of boss treats their employees like that? And that's the kind of thing the players and staff are pissed about. They are kept in the dark and being treated like pawns. Drury didn't even have the decency to speak with his own captain. Don't get me started on Jim Ramsay and why Drury let him go. It's a f***ing joke. Why on earth should any of these players feel loyalty to the organization if their management won't even talk to them?

I was gonna do Downfall of us All by ADTR but Trust Company is just so peak late-90s/early-00s when I was too f***ed up to remember things like how bad we were.
