Who are the top 15 C in the league currently?

Brayden Point has the seventh most goals in the entire league since 2020-2021 (I think 5th in G/GP by my math) and he's not even in half of your top 10s. I hear he's also pretty decent in the playoffs, too. I know I'm a Tampa fan, but do better. There's no universe where he's not a top 10 center in the NHL. Aho, Scheifele, Miller, and Hischier ahead of him? Gimme a break. Miller wasn't even ahead of him in the lineup in Tampa when Point was 21 years old. He's on pace for his fourth 40 goal season in 8 full years in the league. Might even crack 50 again.
You can always make your own list and put Point above those players if you feel that strongly about it. I do agree with you about Point being low on that list but opinions are like assholes, we all have one

So everyone knows: Tage hasn't played a whole lot of center since coming back from his injury. He's largely been riding shotgun with Kulich or Cozens (mainly Kulich the last 2-3 weeks or so).

My top 15 centers overall, which is divided into three main tiers (right this second, no consideration for past seasons):
1. Draisaitl
2. MacKinnon
3. McDavid
4. Matthews
--significant gap--
5. Eichel
6. Point
7. Barkov
8. Hughes
9. Scheifele
--significant gap--
10. Crosby
11. Aho
12. Thomas
13. Kopitar
14. Stutzle
15. Hischier
Honorable mentions that I wouldn't argue against being in that last tier: Suzuki, Thompson, Bedard, D. Strome, Miller, EP40, Larkin

This is pretty darn solid.

I’d love to put Tage Thompson higher, but Buffalo’s perpetual suckage holds him back.

Crosby and Hischier not getting enough credit. Eichel getting too much.

I don't know who is arguing against Point as the ~7th best in the league at this point. It's been this way for years. He's not a franchise caliber guy, but he's firmly Top 10.

Scheifele is also properly rated in the 10-15 neighborhood. He's a purely offensive center who can score goals and hovers around P/GP. He's neither dynamic enough nor well-rounded enough to be placed higher, but he has some of the best production of the non-elite 1Cs.

If it's based on currently, Matthews is a few spots higher than where he should probably go

He's been out of form all year

Theres no way Eichel and Barkov are in a lower tier than Matthews. Matthews might be better than them, but… might not be, if you look at the whole picture. In the same tier at least. Eichel is undeniable since winning the cup, and Barkov is like the Hedman of centers… if you’re a defenceman with similar points to Hedman, you are way worse than Hedman. Hedman is worth at least an extra 20 points with his overall game.

The Tampa hate is real.
One thing that strikes me as funny, and i go through this with a buddy of mine too, is that MackInnon, Makar, McDavid and Draisaitl are exalted liked Gods. Those centers are much more celebrated than Point, and Makar much more than Hedman..... and i even agree.

But then, when i point out that Kucherov is on par or even better as a per game producer than the huge dogs, immediately its, "well, he is on a good team... Point, Guentzel, Hedman..."

It doesnt add up. Those Avs and Oilers cant ALL be better than EVERYONE on the Lightning.

For my money, its Kucherov driving the scoring, regardless of who he plays with... but, then, Im not a Tampa fan, i just watch them sometimes and notice things like Stamkos being 50-60 point guy without Kucherov.
