Brady Tkachuk is top tier in the NHL when it comes to powerhouses.

He might look like he's all neck lol, but he is one of the rare examples of a big dude who's actually even stronger than his size suggests. How else could he come into the NHL as a rookie and play the way he always has? And although his 6'4 225lbs frame is not ripped or overly muscular, but yet hes still freakishly strong and solid, and seems to catch people by surprise.

Hes only 24, give him another 3 or 4 years to fully develop that man strength and he will be alone on an island by himself imo.

He also was a even match for Shea Weber when he was like 21 years old.

Tomas Hertl is solid as a rock. Last night Brock McGinn, who's a pretty athletic guy, busted his knee just running into his skate.

Trevor Zegras
While still funny, he's really not weak for his size. I guess we've moved past Casey Mittelstat, because I'm shocked no mention yet.

Everyones favorite players favorite player, NHL Stanley Cup winner and NHL All Star Thomas Wilson. He's been manhandling dudes in this league since he was 18.

Several years since he likely last laced up a pair of skates, kicking back on a lake somewhere and reelin' in the big one, it's probably still Byfuglien. That guy was a tank.

Not original, and certainly not the first in this thread to say it, but still true.

Dunno if it’s still the case, but Eichel used to be up there for dudes you couldn’t knock off the puck. Insane leg and core strength, he’d just absorb a 220 pound checker and still go where he wanted.

In terms of being able to make a play with guys muscling or hanging onto him I have to go with Malkin.

Former player, yeah, Buff. Ridiculous how many times players tried to make a hit on him when he had the puck, only to bounce off him like a featherweight.
