Yeah I agree with this. It’s Pedri or Dembele for me. But so as to not derail this threat, just wanting to say how high level Joao Neves is. Obviously don’t watch as much L1 as others but He’s like Alexis with elite running ability. He doesn’t have any weakness.Pedri should be the ballon dor if it goes to a Barca player not him it’s because the award is for forwards and not footballers. He is barca
good thing he is a midfielder then.Size and offensive output.
Size and offensive output.
Imagine not rating pedri if that’s the caseNeither of those are issues for him.
The PSG that played Arsenal is very different that PSG now. PSG played Arsenal on October 1. That was before they signed Kvara and more importantly, that was before they moved Dembele central. A lot of time has passed since then. Was very underwhelmed by Neves against Arsenal
Imagine not rating pedri if that’s the case
Outstanding in the air too, so not sure how size is a problem.good thing he is a midfielder then.
He’s doesn’t need to score for PSG because they have at least four elite elite forward options.
Also he’s small, but he’s outstanding in duels; especially for his size. He plays in a three so if you are worried about defense you can just play a bigger more defensive guy there.
Working out great for PSG
Heck we have a Barca fan telling us Neves isn't good because he has 3+7 while Pedri is 4+4.Folk have done that here before.
I have him fifth! And you're comparing La Liga to Ligue 1 lolHeck we have a Barca fan telling us Neves isn't good because he has 3+7 while Pedri is 4+4.
Why wouldn't I? Neves torches Pedri in defensive aspects.I have him fifth! And you're comparing La Liga to Ligue 1 lol
I like this ranking though Huijsen looks spectacular I must say at this rate he will be there soonIf we rank 2003 and later, my top 15 ranking would be AS OF NOW (in terms of actual play+ potential) :
1 Yamal (though I fear he got too many games too young)
2 Musiala
3 Neves
4 Wirtz
5 Bellingham
6 Cherki (his season is better than almost all above him so needs to be seen how that evolves)
7 Doue
8 Nwaneri (potential here)
9 Cubarsi
10 Yoro (IMO more potential than Cubarsi, but lesser season)
11 Arda
12 WZE (so good so young, needs to take the next step, injuries didn't help)
13 Simmons (good but vastly overrated here)
14 Savinho
15 Tel (was impressive last year, his development is stalling, needs to take the next step) or Akliouche.
I'm not familiar enough with the prime young south american prospects to judge them.
Yes he's a very fair addition.I like this ranking though Huijsen looks spectacular I must say at this rate he will be there soon
Agreed. Think most of the names on there are correct but I’m certainly taking Huijsen over Tel. Arda deserves to be there on talent but he needs to go somewhere and get minutes or he could find himself in that Tel zone soon. WZE obviously has talent but has two better midfielders in front of him that probably aren’t going anywhere so he might need to go find some minutes too. So yeah Huijsen and both the Monaco kids Akilouche and Ben Seghir have pretty good claimsI like this ranking though Huijsen looks spectacular I must say at this rate he will be there soon
I mean to galaxy brain a bit, Xabi Alonso to Madrid. Takes Wirtz. Madrid loan Arda to Leverkusen to replace Wirtz. That makes sense to me at leastYeah Arda needs to be loaned to a good team that will play him. Leverkusen could be a good fit
What does Simons have on Neves, Doue, Cherki or others?
Where's Yoro? Tel?
