I like Kobashi best. Plenty of guys up there like Misawa, Muta, Tanahashi, Yano, Kawada, Okada, Liger and so on. I don't really care for the most of the big Japanese names before the 90s (Choshu or even Inoki before that) but I like Tsuruta.

I honestly never explored Japan as much as I should. I know the big names but as for someone I've seen a lot, I'm a big fan of KENTA.

Its Taka Michinoku. The man wn the first lightheavyweight wwf belt so youd best put respect on his name.

Oh yeah Okada is cool too.

Much like @HandsomeHollywood I haven't explored Japanese wrestling enough. A few guys I like though:

Kota Ibushi: Seems the perfect Japanese face. Just has that look and is fantastic in the ring.
Tajiri: Loved him back in the day.
Muta: Loved him back in the WCW days.

Some guy named Daniel Bryan once said he felt Yuji Nagata was the best wrestler in the world.

Minoru Suzuki. Has had at least half a dozen matches this year at 52 years old that blow away any in WWE and as good as just about anything from AEW.

Did you know it's arguable that the greatest worker of all time is in fact a women's wrestler? Manami Toyota.

Here is her in a match that won WON Match of the Year in 1995:

Hayabusa and Onita

How to appeal to the cretinous mob of recalcitrant reprobates?

Tazawa. At the end of his career, he'll have held more total championships than all the others combined. :sarcasm:
