Sharks worn white jerseys a couple of times this year.
(And on the road wore their teals a few times)

I can never get used to dark jerseys at home. Still throws me off. White looks crisper too for the home team.
When visiting, I want to see the Blackhawks' and Red Wings' red. Rangers' blue. Penguins' blue and gold. Stars's green. Flyers' orange. Etc. Not *home team colour* and white from every opposition. Hockey jerseys are by far the best. I want to see that variety.
Wearing white on the road has never made sense. Your colors are your flag...you carry it into the building. Instead every home game looks the same. You in your colors and a boring white opponent. Every opponent. Every single opponent. In white. Every night. Bruins are here...in white. Leafs are here...in white. So stupid.
Fly your flag into the building and season ticket holders get to see different looks and classic colors repped.
Growing up in the 90s, there were times when the teams switched their jerseys around. It looked way better with the dark jerseys on home ice and I was hoping the league would have switched it way sooner. White is dull for the home team. My grandpa and others never got used to the white jerseys being the home jersey.I can never get used to dark jerseys at home. Still throws me off. White looks crisper too for the home team.
It would be pretty cool if a few teams pulled a Cowboys and were simply known for wearing whites at home.
Maybe designate that one team wears dark helmets and the other white?
I'm curious what sort of consideration soccer leagues give to this, they seem to be okay with having both teams wear colors...
Really stupid how Winnipeg fans whiteout the building, and the team wears blue.
... um yeah, this ^^^^. It looked like the fans were Ducks fans.
You'd think management could have tried to start a new tradition...? Glad I don't have to see that anymore this year.
But basically, how/why is a home jersey color thread in the business forum?
No. Both teams wearing colours is just ridiculous. I remember they did that for the all star game one time in the 90's my poor old grandpa couldn't even tell which team was which. Bring back whites at home. Here's a crazy idea: Every team gets to choose the colors of their jerseys! meaning, if they don't want to have white jerseys then they don't need to!
Nashville's home color is yellow (or gold or whatever) and their away jerseys are dark blue cause dark blue is the teams secondary color.
Blackhawks wear red at home and black when visiting.
Winnipeg wears white at home (or vomit green or whatever they want) and dark blue when visiting.
and so on...
Yeah, I understand this would make things much more complicated. I totally get it why they have the "white jersey" rule but wouldn't it be sweet if the teams got to decide themselves the colors of their jerseys?
No?
You guys are so lame.
No. I want to see my team wearing our colors at home. The Rangers are the blushirts. Why shouldn't they be wearing blue? Calgary's sea of red should be just that...red. Besides, if we're all into the tradition and heritage of the sport, home colors is the way to go.
The first thing I remember thinking to myself when the Leafs and Red Wings Winter Classic jerseys were reviled, I was surprised that the Leafs one was not more white since they were the visiting team. This is the best home jersey.

it boggles my mind why people would want their team to wear white at home, it's so...boring.
