Honestly the playoffs is a completely different game than the regular season and anything can and probably will happen. I like how Arniel has had this team playing all season and i really think this year is going to be a very fun playoff.

If you have to worry about which team you want to face in the playoffs ... you don't belong in the playoffs.
is not about worrying, it's about trying to remain as unscathed as possible worrying in the earlier rounds.

I'm not going to get my hopes up too high this year.

Regardless of the playoffs result this season has been a real treat and nothing will take that away, but in my mind these guys have a lot to prove.

I don't want to get too excited, I still remember how I felt after last seasons debacle.

If we play .500 hockey, the Stars will need 18 of 24 possible points to catch us.
If we win 6 of our last 10 games, Dallas will need to get 20 of their possible 24 points.
If they catch us, they deserve it.
It would actually be kind of funny if Dallas took the spot from us, the Wild held off the Blues and then St. Louis knocked them out in the first round.

Not crazy about playing Vancouver because of the late start time out west.

Think I would prefer facing Minnesota in round 1
I think we are going to get stuck with late starts if two or more Eastern Canadian teams get in and don't face each other. If the Jets are lucky they might get a 6:30 start ahead of the Oilers/Kings series on a day when scheduling conflicts allow, but I'd expect the first game on Sunday, a weekday late game and god only knows after that, maybe another weekend afternoon game.

Come playoffs we're a Rogers property and the Leafs and Oilers are their sacred cows. Nationally Dallas and Colorado might be a bigger draw than Winnipeg-Minnesota. I wouldn't expect any scheduling breaks in the playoffs.

Right now either matchup looks good to me Hellebuyck-Binnington round 3, or Fleury potentially playing his last game in Winnipeg after stealing our hopes in 2018 with some epic goaltending.

I'd take either.

Last playoffs finally broke me but in a good way. After my meltdown I completely revisited the expectations I was placing on both the team and on how I derived value from my fandom.

The playoffs will be what they are and win lose or collapse this has been a season for the ages. We will have 8 extremely important games to end this season and with Dallas having a soft schedule and hot on our heals this is kind of like the poor man’s playoffs already. Game 83 starts the tournament season and hopefully it lasts more than 10 days this year but we’ll see.

Win or lose i want to see men out there fighting for the logo. They looked like scared boys out there last couple of years.

It would be nice if they didn’t lose 4 in a row to exit the playoffs because we have done that all but one time in the 2.0 era. It can destroy your soul to watch a team collapse repeatedly every time. Time to flip the script boys.
