St Louis Blues - 19-4-3 since the game before Four Nations, signed Snuggerud
Minnesota Wild - Just got Kaprizov and Eriksson Ek back, signed Buium, were 21-10-4 when KK got hurt
Montreal Canadians - 28-15-8 since they started rolling, signed Demidov
Ottawa Senators - 15-5-2 since March, Tkachuk expected back for playoffs game 1, spotlight on Cozens

Calgary and Columbus are still in it but aren't comparable in the pucker factor.

I'm a MTL fan but from the perspective of a top seed I'd put MTL last in this ranking. The other 3 teams are quite close, probably rank Minny at 1 if Kaprisov is at full strength.

As a Jet fan there is no wildcard team worries me.
If they play their A-game they will win.

Blues

Sens
Wild

Habs

Hard to bet against the Blues considering they are 35-18-7 since hiring Montgomery.

Sens and Wild should both be hard-outs. Both play strong defensive hockey and have good goaltending.

Habs are easily the worst. Bottom 4 team in the league in expected goal differential.

Sens are the best team unless the Wild can get healthy some time. Blues struggle against quality teams and the Habs aren't quite ready yet.

We have struggled a bit since Holloway’s injury. If he’s good to go I’d say confidently it’s us though.

The Blues are the team I would least want to play in the first round, however, but among the choices Ottawa has the most potential to go beyond the first and even second round.
