Hughes alone is worth taking group 1, he's so far ahead of Dobson who's best use is PP1, but Hughes is still better at that.

Maybe if you factor in contract and age you could make an argument but straight up better right now is not close.

Even aside from just the "quality" aspect being tilted...the first group would fit together so much better as a unit. With obvious (and proven) pairings. The other group is a bit of a mess. Doesn't really go together completely well. There's only one real "steadying presence".

I don’t think this is that close. Hughes is just too far ahead of the others, and the pairings work better for the first one as well. I’d take Hughes-Hronek over Forsling-Dobson and Miller-Tanev over Minty-Letang. If Letang was still in his prime it’s a question.
