I don't think Brady would even be in the conversation were it not for the name on his back. From what I have seen he is just a very good young power forward who plays the game hard but pretty fair...

Bingo Brady will go at and treat everyone the same, he plays them hard.
His brother does cheap shit to star players, it’s not at all the same.

Matthew seems to be a major brat - not sure he's the type you hate but would love to have on your team. Would love to have a Marchand type of guy on my team - Matthew T not so much.

Brady seems much closer to being that guy.

They are both assholes but from what I have seen Brady seems to be a bit more "honorable" of the two, less flopping around hoping for calls from him unlike Matthew. He also seems to be more willing to drop the gloves and answer for himself unlike Matthew. Although this just maybe a function of me not having seen enough Ottawa.

I prefer Brady 100x over The Turtle. At least Brady answers bell without feeling pressured by the entire league to do so.

Brady AINEC. Big, tough, can fight, stands up for his teammates, seems like a quality young leader, and is no where near as dirty as Matt. I haven't seen him slew foot, or highstick guys. He takes his physical punishment (Weber, Chiarot) and hands it out the same.

He's a power forward who does power forward things. Matt's an asshole, who bitches, turtles, slew foots, sticks guys and generally dives. Matt's more talented, but Brady is the better team player and skater.

No when Matt turtles or starts throwing punches before the other guy has a chance to drop the gloves, that's not backing it up. Nobody outside of Flames fans thinks he's tough, he's a dirty POS, there is a massive difference. I feel like that gets confused way too much now days. Not sure why, but people think being dirty is being tough for some weird reason. Jarome Iginla was tough, not Matthew Tkachuk.

Kid is such a beauty.

Its messed up because even if hes running over the other team and slamming their own players into the boards all night, he does it so cleanly and in such a cheeky/fun/lovable way that somehow people dont seem to hate him for it.

Hes actually admired and loved by almost everyone. And for the lovers of old time hockey and rough and tumble PWFs like Keith Tkachuk or Shanahan, then Brady is exactly their cup of tea as far as players go - and seem like a dying a breed unfortunately,
