This can be for teams that are already eliminated or a hypothetical if one of the teams still alive were to bow out. Who do you think would be among the most likely to overhaul their team this offseason/pre-next deadline?

It'll be hard but it sort of has to be LA. I 100% think in a 1-8 playoff format they would've been in better shape but after 4 straight years of the literal exact same thing you need to change something.

Looking at the other teams who lost out:

OTT and MTL are young and will just hope for improvement/take this as a lesson
NJD were just badly injured, also still a somewhat young team compared to the main cup contenders
STL? I can't imagine they change much...but they're sorta just in a mid spot.

If the Avs were in any other division they would still be in the playoffs.

I'd they had gotten out of the Central they would have ended up winning the SC. If just happens that this year's SCC was decided in the first round.
Idk if they’re making it out of the Atlantic tbf. But I am biased

Vegas is always aggressive. I hope the Blackhawks make a pitch to take Theodore and Stone off their hands. lol

Minnesota has, at least count.... eleventy billion dollars of cap space to work with, so I could see them being aggressive as well.

The Leafs are going to let Marner walk, among others, and I for one look forward to purchasing his Blackhawks sweater.

Tampa is too patient and smart to do anything stupid, but if they wanted to throw a tantrum and fire their coach, Chicago should double whatever Sullivan got from NYR to get him.

Brisebois already said Cooper is back for next year and doesnt see anyone else as coach going forward. Cooper said the org is the best run in the league, Tampa is the only place his kids know, he doesn’t want to go anywhere. Im not really sure where the smoke around Cooper even came from but doesn’t seem like there’s anything to it. Frankly it’s tough to put that series on him. He had a bad challenge in game 1 but otherwise not much he could have done

None because GMs are all cowards
Avalanche GM is the opposite of a coward. Not sure it went all that great (but hindsight is always 20/20). Also Brisebois did give up a draft class for Tanner Jeannot, let stamkos walk, traded Sergachev, got rid of basically every first round pick the team has had under his tenure…not too cowardly either

LA and Toronto. The Kings need to add young talent in preparation for their aging stars retiring, and the Leafs are showing that their core just can't get it done.

I see the Golden Knights pushing hard for Provorov in the offseason. I think Mc Nabb is done.

And paying for a top 6 forward.

Probably right. The Knights struggled all season (and certainly the post-season) to find scoring and they've got enough defensive depth that McCrimmon can shed some older d-men and go back to being a riverboat gambler to find more scoring with the cap increase. Much more of a reload than a rebuild, but my guess is that there will be a lot more moves than last summer.

That’s just pure cope, they got smoked by a team missing their best players lmao
It was a 7 game series with two of Dallas wins being in overtime? Getting smoked is getting swept or eliminated in 5. Colorado was two bounces away from sweeping Dallas yet besides the point anyone who wasn’t a complete casual knew that series was gonna go to the wire and if anything is likely the real WCF
