Bruins. They've traditionally a physical, big, bad, "bully" type of team.

Vegas easily. Bruins if we're talking history, but currently they're a rather boring team.

You mean the Flyers.

They have more PIMs, more fights, more hits, etc. than the Bruins do in history. They were literally the Broad Street Bullies that beat those Big Bad Bruins in the 70s. Then they beat the USSR. The rough and tough image came from the Flyers. And up until recently they were consistenly good. Just because of recency bias where the Bruins have been better as of late doesn't negate this. Boston is literally enjoying it's most "successful" period outside of the 70s whereas Philadelphia is literally in their worst stretch in their history.

And this is why I love rooting for Vegas. The bad guys never get enough credit, and everyone is always working against them. Its not fair. Doesn't anyone ever consider things from their perspective? VGK is definitely my "other" favorite team, and I'm sure they will eventually have another shot at getting their revenge on the rest of the league, reclaiming their place at the top. Just you wait.

Chicago Blackhawks because Kyle Beach and the fact that the NHL covered it up for so long I daresay because that franchise is such a cash cow for the league.

Meanwhile there was all this advocacy against bullying not to mention the "You Can Play" campaign that I in no way believe was merely coincidental.

Pretty sure that "If you can play, you can play" was started by Brian Burke's son, Brendan Burke (RIP) as he was gay and was bullied, or heard how using homophobic slurs was common place for chirping along with everything else that kept, essentially non-straight, white males out of the sport for so long.

Burke passed away in 2010, 2 years after Beach was drafted and before he joined the Hawks in the NHL.

Currently:Florida and Toronto

Historically: Montreal. They have the most cups, everyone should hate their guts. They've been crap for a while though so they're on the back burner.

Dishonorable mention to the Flyers

As a fan, I love everyone hating my team. It means they're good.

But.....not fair? See things from their perspective? Vegas has yet to pay their dues. They walked right into the league and had major league success right off the hop. That's also not fair when you look at what Buffalo, Vancouver and Toronto have been though. But as we all know, life isn't fair.

Okay, thank you for the details.

My point was not that Kyle Beach and his situation was the cause for the campaign but rather that it was ongoing simultaneously with the Kyle Beach cover up. It was not limited to say, one year, and the campaign was very much a thing during the timeframe in which the Kyle Beach situation was unfolding and being covered up. You could go on YouTube and look up several commercials that were promoting the campaign and even featuring Blackhawks teammates who I would have a hard time believing were not aware of what had been transpiring internally related to Kyle Beach.
