The Florida Panthers and Vegas Golden Knights are the two most recent cup winners. But which team do you think has the best chance of turning things around and actually winning their series?

I mean one team is coming home, the other is going on the road. In addition the Panthers are apparently according to everyone here the greatest hockey team in Eastern Conference history so clearly it’s them.

Upon initially reading the thread title, I thought something along the lines of both of them being more than capable and about equally likely, so was hoping for a "both" option. But when you reminded me of the fact that Vegas lost both their home games and Florida has yet to play at home, I suppose that makes up my mind since I have to choose only one.

You think we're becoming road warriors :sarcasm:

Neither or both options?

I mean, that's how I'd have put the question if it were me, but this isn't my thread. If the thread starter wants to make us pick one or the other, that's their right. Which, fairly enough, the question is phrased as "most likely to" as opposed to asking which team will do it. Even if you think it's neither, but give, say, Florida a 10% chance and Vegas a 5% chance, 10% > 5%.

Florida, is the easy choice, they’re going home for 2 games, Vegas is going on the road for 2 games. So Florida is most likely.
In b4 lock.

They’re both dunski

theoretically speaking it’s Florida though since they have a better goalie, and outside of Nylander toronto struggles to get production from their big $ forwards in big games

Both are likely done, but Florida has two home games upcoming and Vegas is heading to Edmonton, so naturally Florida is in a better spot

I could see both coming back. Florida is more likely though with the series heading home and Bob more likely to get his shit together IMO.

In a 7 game series, the team that is up 2-0 has gone on to win the series 86.3% of the time. When game 3 is at home, the odds of winning the series were 80.4% vs 88.4% if game 3 is on the road.

Both are possible, most likely, I don't know, coin flip it.

Edmonton's goalies are both bad, Pickard has been less bad than Hill, If that continues than Vegas is done, but It wouldn't take much for that to change really.
Toronto is kind of the same story Stolarz/Woll has been good enough and Bob hasn't, but that flips and Florida is back in the series.
