Which team down 3-1 will come back to win the series?

Goaltending certainly but the Oilers have a very good and very deep defence. If the goalies stop what they should stop Edmonton is fine.

I'm confused by Vegas, honestly. They've had almost nothing going at 5v5 the whole series. For a team that I thought was deeper than Edmonton they've been getting killed by guys like Evander Kane, Adam Henrique, Corey Perry and Connor Brown. McDavid and Draisaitl haven't gone supernova yet but by and large they haven't had to.

This is the weird one to me. I thought he might as well have been dead. I guess I just don't know enough about him because I don't know what he was like during the regular season. You could have told me he was retired and I'd have believed you.

His boots are gone and he definitely looks his age most nights but the one thing he still has is a wicked shot. If he can get open with a bit of time and space he can still find openings.

Nobody but I think the Caps and Jets do win game 5 because of a combo of Carolina not being a good road team and Jets being such a good home team
"Carolina not being a good road team"

Not as applicable over the last 2 playoff years
LY: 1-1 1st round, 1-2 2nd Round
TY: 1-1 1st round, 1-1 2nd round

Winning one on the road is always the goal and Canes have been able to achieve that (which given their highly superior home record is important)

Vegas has best chance just cuz if they can rattle skinner andnhe goes in downward spiral, oilers dont really have an alternative than a mentally fractured skinner since pickard is likely out the series. But i still dont think vegas can.

Vegas is dealing with too many injuries to make any sort of run and Dallas is just not gonna lose 3 straight.

Caps have the best chance. To be blunt, I don't think Carolina is that good. Just match up so well against the caps.

Vegas ...

I only get to watch the 1st period or so (EST) and they look so solid against the Oilers (who I think its destiny they win it this year)

Wake up, check the box score and I missed some amazing McJesus led comeback

As of the time I'm typing this this is the order of probability in which I think the teams losing in series could come back to win:

Winnipeg
Toronto
Washington

That being said I think all 3 series end next game. I could see the Jets extending it the game six but that's where they go to get Finnished off.

the correct answer is none.
I still believe caps win game 5. Winning in Carolina will be the task. Caps have never come back from being down 3-1. While I believe Carolina has performed better in every way in the series, its absolutely a game of bounces. Caps are due for some bounces to go their way instead of carolinas.

That wouldn’t be accurate. The Caps came back from a 3-1 series deficit in 2009 (1st round against the Rangers). They won that series on a famous beautiful goal by Sergei Fedorov, which was also the last of his NHL career.

Doesn’t matter though, the Caps are likely not coming back. I give them a 40% chance to force Game 6, 10% chance to force Game 7 and 5% chance to complete the comeback.

My body is ready for either big comeback or pretending like hockey doesn't exist for 3 months. Dallas is good losing to them would be alright (as alright as losing can be). Jets beat themselves when playing the blues. So far Dallas has been beating the jets.
