Which series will be the most physical?

I'm not sure where the Sens got their reputation as a physical team. Not saying they're soft or anything but no they're not abusing anyone in the playoffs just yet
Probably because they’ve been a physical team for several years now, being near the top of the league in hits. Their captain is one of the most physical players in the league and they have several others in their lineup that can play that game too.

Not sure where your confusion is coming from.

Leafs will get pounded by the Sens, so not really physical. More like one-way abuse.

Leafs vs Sens will be the most physical series between fans. Tiktok and X are about to get some good content when the inevitable brawls break out between drunkards in the 300s.
Pretty much exactly what I was going to say.

No idea what the most nasty for players will be but our series is 100% guaranteed to give the mods nightmares for years to come. It's beautiful. I hate the Senators but no one deserved Eugene Melnyk.

EDIT: ok I lied, the Dallas Cowboys deserve Eugene Melnyk. But they already have shit ownership so whatever I guess?

Washington vs Montreal. The Tom Wilson effect.

...only for two games...Game 1 - Wilson runs around hitting everything that moves and hits Hutson dirty but not enough for a suspension...Game 2 - MSL dresses Arber Xhekaj, who sends Wilson to the local hospital by punching his face into hamburger...

...after that, the Florida - Tampa Series...

Leafs and Sens are both top ten in hits. Leafs also had 13 different players pick up a fighting major this season, and statistically are one of the heaviest teams. I get the soft rep from previous years where Dubas would trade a first for Foligno or sign an over the hill Wayne Simmonds to address 'toughness', but the team is past those days.
Totally different team this year. This is by far the best they've looked in Matthews era, built for the playoffs with real toughness, not phoney dubas toughness. Winning the east is a real possibility.

With that said I hope for the same results as always - but this time to a provincial rival that's been in the basement for years. *Chef's kiss

Who over comes out of the FLA vs TB series is going to have to lick their wounds. They will be battered and bruised. Those two teams hate each other to the moon and back.

Was Florida and Tampa that physical last year?

I remember Florida in the Finals being FREAKISHLY healthy. To which they admitted to.

I looked at the teams they played and wonder how the hell did they get to the final so unscathed?

I'd have to think Vegas and Minnesota will be hella physical, every defender on the knights is massive, and the Wild will have to match that physicality to stand a chance on hanging in the series.
You grossly underestimate how lazy the Knights are, plus Cassidy will turtle at least 55 minutes every game -- even when tied or the Knights are slightly behind. I still think the Knights will win, but it will be because the Wild will get totally frustrated with all the turtling.

Oilers - Kings is going to be nasty. Teams despise each other and the Oilers will be injecting Kane and Frederic as soon as Game 1.

The two "Battle of ..." should be fun to watch. Beyond that the Oilers/Kings should be good as the animosity was really cranked up a couple days ago. Blues/Jets has decent potential. The rest should be good games but nothing like the others.

Blues vs Jets gunna be a big body banger.
The Blues are ranked #20 in avg weight and #20 in avg height in the league. #22 in penalty minutes.

Jets are #6 in height, #17 in weight. #25 in penalty minutes.

The only "banger" stat for the Blues is that they are #6 in hits/60, but the Jets are ranked #18.

The only playoff teams with more hits/60 are Florida and Ottawa (because of the Tkachuks 😂 ) Montreal, Toronto and Jersey are close behind the Blues.

I predict that the Toronto/Ottawa series will be the most physical for sure, especially when you add in the rivalry aspect. Florida/Tampa close behind.

All the players and coaches said the heaviest series we had was actually against Boston.

I think when people see Florida Tampa, they think about the first time we met which is STILL the only physical series the two teams have had.

Both Boston series' we had was the actual blood bath lol

You didn’t live through the Toronto/bruins series thread last year (neither did I, I was thread banned pretty much immediately) or the Toronto panthers from the previous year (I didn’t live through that one either)

Those were pretty heated

Senators fans don’t know how to do this properly yet. I expect they’ll learn quickly. Might get pretty popping when they’re down 2-0 going back for the 3rd leafs home game
