2012 - Rangers vs. Arizona - That Rangers team should have beaten the Devils, and I was really pulling for Arizona to continue their Cinderella run to the Final. If the Rangers had lost that final, it would have sucked, but at least a new team would have won it, and it might have changed things for the better in AZ.

That would have been a cool matchup. If we want to play hypotheticals, I'm convinced that the Coyotes would have beaten the Devils if we had gotten past the Kings, but Jonathan Quick had something to say about that, and what he had to say was basically "no SCF for you."

I still have some bitterness and a sour taste in my mouth about how game 5 of the WCF that year ended, but we went down 3-0 in that series fair and square, and I don't believe we would have completed the reverse sweep if game 5 had turned out differently anyway.

Lots of storylines there obviously, but it would also have been the first playoff matchup between these 2 teams... probably about time on that!

Could have happened if the Blues hung on to the WC1 and upset Vegas...
